This is in memory of William Donald Schaefer, former Governor of the State of Maryland, who died today of natural causes. Mr. Schaefer was Governor of Maryland from 1987 to 1995 and Comptroller from 1999 to 2007. This office will send an additional notice for when the flag is to be raised.
